Can We Say Fun?

The mildly annoying toothache that started up this weekend just became a real pain in the ass. Turns out I've got enough decay in one particular tooth to make my dentist cringe in sympathy pain. Thursday will see my initiation into the Wild World of Root Canals. Thankfully the procedure is just like having a cavity filled only longer (well, "just like" from my perspective, at any rate). And our dental insurance is nice enough to keep the price tag on this way down. But, wow. Didn't expect to deal with this kind of a first during my first pregnancy. Joy.
